In nature, this species is known to handle heat better than any other strain. The Cambodian is a tough strain that is suitable for both novice and advanced microscopists.

Our Spore syringe microscopy kit comes with 10ml of authentic Cambodian spores in a syringe, individually packaged, and a sterile needle. Idaho, Georgia, and California will see a decrease in sales.

Spores are only to be used for microscopy and taxonomy. The images displayed are for educational purposes only and come from other cultivators and labs outside of the United States. Many countries, including the United States, make cultivation illegal. The goal of this website is not to cultivate psilocybin mushrooms.

Our authentic Cambodian spore strain has a fascinating history, which only gets more intriguing when you work with it in the lab.

Let’s find out more:

John W. Allen Makes Another Historic Discovery While Filming Near Angkor Wat
You may recognize John W. Allen, a writer and globe-trotting mushroom expert, from his previous fungal discoveries. We love “Mushroom John” and carry authentic spore strains from two of his other Asian discoveries, namely our always-viable Burma spores and Pink Buffalo spores.

According to legend, John Allen was making a film (about mushrooms, of course) near the beautiful and sprawling Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia when he discovered the now-famous Cambodian strain. As an exemplary mycologist, John naturally brought a sample back to the United States. As a result, more samples were collected, and this one-of-a-kind spore strain is now available to amateur microscopists and mycologists worldwide!

That story, it turns out, is mostly true. In our interview with John, we got the real scoop from him. He did, in fact, discover the Cambodian spore strain, but not on the doorstep of Angkor Wat, contrary to popular belief. It was, however, very close to Angkor Wat, which is located in Siem Riap, Cambodia.

The Wild Behavior of the Cambodian Cubensis
The Cambodian psilocybin mushroom strain has several distinguishing and desirable characteristics that make its spores a joy to work with and study in the lab. This fungi is an extremely fast colonizer in nature—under the right natural conditions, its mycelial mat will grow very quickly.

Is it starting to get hot in here? Because the region of Cambodia where Angkor Wat is located is very warm, this fungi thrives in wilderness settings where the temperature is slightly higher than usual. Mycologists have observed this strain in natural settings where massive flushes were common, even across a wide range of substrates and terrain.

What is the Study Experience Like When Cambodian Spores Are Examined Under the Microscope?
Cambodian spores are well-known for their delicate appearance on a microscope slide. What amateur microscopists like best about this strain is that it is so much fun to study that they can’t help but feel energized and creative.

Beginners will find that the lab work required with this Cambodian strain isn’t as difficult as it is with other strains, thanks in part to its contaminant-resistant properties. Getting the slide into your microscope should be a relatively simple and quick process.

Another Fantastic Spore to Add to Your Collection
This Cambodian spore syringe will look great in your spore collection, especially if you like South East Asian spore strains. Because westerners don’t usually get to study these strains, they’re a lot of fun to study. This Cambodian strain also plays a role in a story—studying it alongside the Burma and Pink Buffalo strains can make a microscopist feel as if they’re on one of John Allen’s adventures.

Quality Spores now sells authentic Cambodian Psilocybin Mushroom Spores.
We are confident that you will enjoy our Cambodian spore syringes whether you are new to the hobby of amateur microscopy or an experienced microscopist. They are not only brimming with spores, but they are also completely authentic, always viable, and never contaminated.
